Cyclone Fani: A Photo Blog of the farm

A beautiful sunset behind the clouds after the 20 minute cyclone

A Jowar (sorghum) crop under the neem shade looks darker than under full sun

A mulched (with hay from the rice harvest) native brinkal bed retaining a lot of the rain water from the Cyclone Fani

One of the only 2 mighty Agathi trees in the farm has fallen to the short but ferocious windstorm

Of course, there was a shower of dried coconut leaves

The green patch is the Jowar crop

Beautiful colours of the sunset everywhere

Our six-day old calf Kanmani

Percolation of the water in the first pond built within the farm will help me recharge the well nearby 🙂

I don’t usually give technology it’s due credit. These photos were taken using Noushy’s new phone OnePlus 6T. Thanks, Noushy! 😀
