There is zero chance, no way; we all need so much Whey!

There is zero chance, no way
We all need so much whey
When all we do all day
Is lazy work from home or away

From laptops and phone
Without often lifting even a bone
Rarely are we in a zone
To burn the protein we own

Dals, soy, eggs and meat
Trust you must every beat
Whole foods , they are the best
They have endured, time's test

When people tell the whole truth
I imagine they are going back to the root
But whole foods is godsend
Not isolate that has travelled from land's end

I don't wanna be mean
But, if you wanna have dense protein
Partake in some sport
Maybe join a gym cohort

Join us in the Vaanavil fields
If you wanna get the feels
Of burning energy
Like a busy bee
A close-up of a moth resting on a dark surface, displaying its detailed wings and unique patterns.
Did you know that insects are one of the most sustainable sources of dietary protein? Culturally, we have a long way to go before any kind of mass adoption in India. But it is food for thought, or maybe stomach.

Whey protein concentrates and isolates are processed foods. They aren’t whole foods.

Now that most of us are leading sedentary lives, and not hunting for meal and gathering fruits, do we really need such concentrated nutrients originally meant for muscle repair and building?

Most of the whey protein that we get at current prices are because the cheese industry exists in such a large scale in US & Europe. Whey was discarded primarily until the 1980s. Only when ultra filtration was invented, the fitness industry was tapped for this byproduct.

I think there are niche uses for whey protein products. But the majority of us who have desk jobs, do not need such concentrated protein intake.

Vegan protein sources have a lot of carbs and some fibre along them. Poultry and livestock sources have a lot of fats and cholesterol. Balance is key.

Most importantly, movement cannot be compromised. For your well being. For your health. If you do not move on a regular basis, whether you are having whole foods or whey protein, nothing matters.

The future is in moving. The future is moving.
